All our products are designed in Melbourne. Our posters are printed in our studio. Our Bamboo sets are produced in China by our responsible manufacturer.

BAMBOO

Why bamboo?

We have a strong commitment to protecting the environment for future packs to come. That’s why we use bamboo instead of melamine. Bamboo is a biodegradable material and an eco-friendly alternative to plastic. Unlike melamine — which takes thousands of years to decompose — bamboo can break down in a short span of time when buried or composted. When you choose biodegradable products made from plants, you are helping reduce landfill.

Can What The Wolf dining sets be put in the dishwasher?

Yes! For longevity, we recommend that they be washed in the top shelf.

Can I use What The Wolf bamboo dining sets in the microwave?

We do not recommend microwaving our bamboo dining sets.

How resistant is bamboo?

Bamboo is pretty sturdy and should last a good 4 to 5 years of standard daily usage. Please note that if dropped on a hard surface like concrete or tiles, it might split.

 

POSTERS

Do you offer framing services?

We do not offer framing services, as this would increase shipping costs and risk of damage during transit. It’s safer and more economical for you to get your poster framed by a professional in your area. Our prints are also made to fit standard frame measurements if you wish to source your own frames. Ikea offers a wide range of affordable frames.

How are they packaged?

Every order is packaged with all the love and care it deserves in 100% post-consumer waste recycled materials.

A4 and A3 prints are protected by a clear cello bag* and thick backing boards* and packed flat in a rigid envelope.

A2 and A1 prints are protected by a clear cello bag* and rolled into a hard cardboard roll.

*Backing boards are made from 100% recycled, thick (700gsm) boxboard material.

*All cello bags are 100% recycled, FSC-certified and made of 40-micron polypropylene.

How are they printed?

All our posters are giclee prints.

Giclee printing is a type of inkjet printing. It produces a higher quality product with a longer lifespan than a standard desktop inkjet printer.

The biggest contrast between a standard inkjet print and a giclee print is that giclees are printed using pigment-based inks rather than the dye-based inks found in lower-cost inkjets.

Pigment-based inks have a longer lifespan, and can last anywhere from 100 to 200 years without significant fading.

 

SHIPPING

When will my order be shipped?

Orders are usually shipped within 1-3 working days of the original order being placed. Orders within Australia should arrive in 5-10 working days.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes we do. Prices will be calculated at checkout.

How much is shipping going to cost me?

Total shipping cost is calculated at the checkout. Our standard shipping rates are:

$9.95 flat rate postage in Australia
$34.95 flat rate postage for New Zealand
$44.95 flat rate postage rest of the World

 

RETURNS

We will accept returns or exchanges for the following:

Damaged order

You must notify us within 7 days of receiving your package of any damages. We cannot accept requests after this time frame. All items must be returned in an unused state in their original packaging [removed “unopened” as damages are often not noticed until they’re removed from packaging]. Returns must be shipped through registered post. Please send us your order number, name and a photo of the damaged item.

We reserve the right to refuse an exchange request if the returned item does not comply with this policy. 

Wrong product

You must notify us within 7 days of receiving your package of an incorrect order. We cannot accept requests after this time frame.

Please leave us with your order number, name and a photo of the incorrect item. We will send you the correct item once we have received the wrong one. In this case, shipping is on us! Scan the shipping receipt once you’ve sent it, and we will reimburse the correct shipping costs into your account as soon as possible

PRIVACY & SECURITY

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from whatthewolf.com (the “Site”).

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information”.

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers, email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information”.

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfil any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

- Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
- When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

DATA RETENTION

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

CHANGES

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
